چکیده

The traditional DC-link indirect AC/AC power converters (AC/DC/AC converters) employ two-stage conversion, which increases the circuit complexity along with gate driving challenges, placing an excessive burden on processor while implementing complex switching modulation techniques and leads to conversion losses due use of a large amount controlled semiconductor switches. On contrary, direct voltage controllers, as well frequency changers, suffer from high total harmonic distortion (THD) problems. In this paper, new single-phase three-phase step-down converter is proposed, utilizes multi-linking transformer bilateral triode thyristors (TRIACs) proposed employs single-stage mitigates changers. Instead using high-frequency pulse width modulated signals, line pulses are used trigger TRIACs converter, not only aids in reducing loss but also cost driver circuits. reduces THD output significantly compared performance validated against RL induction motor load terms overall individual components through MATLAB/Simulink environment. A reduced-scale laboratory prototype built tested evaluate converter. experimental simulation outcomes reveal feasibility excellent features topology.

Investigation of Three-Phase to Single-Phase Matrix Converter

Abstract: A three-phase to single-phase matrix converter is investigated in the present paper. Based on the state matrix vector, a mathematical analysis of the converter is performed giving the relation between the sinusoidal line voltage (current) and the output voltage (current). The results of the investigation are confirmed using computer simulation of the converter by the program product C...

A New Topology for Interline Dynamic Voltage Restorer Based on Direct Three-Phase Converter

In this paper, a new topology for Interline Dynamic Voltage Restorer (IDVR) is proposed. This topology contains two direct three-phase converters which have been connected together by a common fictitious dc-link. According to the kind of the disturbances, both of the converters can be employed as a rectifier or inverter. The converters receive the required compensation energy from the gird thro...
